Nursery Teacher (maternity cover)

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic nursery class teacher to join our team. You will have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and good organisational skills. This is a maternity cover position, starting on 25th February 2019, offered as a fixed term contract for 2/3 terms. In this role you will be managing the nursery team on a day to day basis aswell as having responsibility for children in your key worker group.

 

We are looking for a nursery teacher who:

- has a teaching or relevant degree (QTS, B Ed, PGCE);

- has worked in the Foundation Stage as a teacher;

- has a detailed understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage;

- has experience of working with children with a wide range of needs;

- has experience of managing a team of early years practitioners;

- is committed to promoting high standards of learning; and

- is familiar with the Letters and Sounds phonics resource.

Teaching Assistant, Key Stage 2

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as a Teaching Assistant in Upper Key Stage 2 supporting a year 6 class. The post is offered on a permanent contract starting in February 2019. The hours are 28.75 per week and the pattern of work is 8.40am - 15.20, Monday-Friday, term time only. Candidates should also be willing to work half an hour in the dining hall or playground, if required, providing lunchtime supervision on 3 days per week.

Teaching Assistant, Key Stage 1

Teaching Assistant, Foundation Stage H2/H3

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as a Teaching Assistant supporting our reception classes. You will be working 1:1 with a child in the mornings and providing small group and 1:1 intervention work in the afternoons. Experience of working with children with special educational needs would be an advantage. 

 

The post is offered on a fixed term contract, with no end date, until the child leaves the school or exceptional needs funding changes or ceases, whichever is the sooner. The hours are 27.5 per week and the pattern of work is 8.40am - 3.10pm, Monday-Friday, term time only. Candidates should also be willing to work half an hour in the dining hall or playground, if required, providing lunchtime supervision on 3 days per week. This would be paid as additional hours at your normal rate.

Sports Coach - H4

 

We are looking to employ a sports coach to lead the delivery of PE lessons to primary school children aged 4-11. The post is offered on a permanent contract starting in April 2019. The hours are 33.75 per week and the pattern of work is 08.45 – 16.30 , Monday-Friday, term time only.

 

In this role you will be responsible for leading PE lessons and after school clubs, following the national curriculum and our programme of study, PE planning.  In addition to football, netball, hockey and athletics you will be teaching gym, dance and multi sports.

 

We are looking for a sports coach who:

- has a recognised NGB Level 2 sports coaching certificate in at least one sport;

- has experience of delivering PE within a primary school;

- has high expectations of achievement and behaviour;

- enjoys working with children and is interested in their development;

- is enthusiastic and dynamic;

- is flexible and willing to take on different challenges;

- is punctual, reliable and well organised; and

- can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers.

Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA)

We are looking for Midday Supervisory Assistants (MSAs), as follows

- We have one vacancy for a permanent MSA working 6.25hrs per week.  The working pattern is 1.25 hrs per day worked over the lunch period.

- Casual MSAs, working variable hours over the lunch period.
