The Hobbs Hill Wood Association is an active and growing School Association which raises money for things that enhance the learning experience for our children. We organise events and activities, which we hope bring the school community together to have some fun. We believe in the best for every child, every day.   We can support this by celebrating our school and doing more together.

School Association Events 2019.20

This year we are raising money to provide the school with the following and our target to raise is £13,600

Free Fruit: for all fo the children in KS2, this is £1500

Creative Arts Week: We are funding creative arts week for the whole school this is £3000

Whole School Outing: We are subsidising the whole school outing at the end of the year this is £3000

KS2 Library Books: We are buying all new library books for the new KS2 library, this is £3600

KS2 Library Latops: We will be spending £2500 on brand new laptops for the new library. 

Any extra money that we raise Mr Haynes has asked us to ask you what you would like us to spend this on for the children. If you have any ideas on anything we need for the school or for individual classrooms, then please email us on the association email and we will try our best for you. Thank You.

Events this year:

Teddy Bear Picnic – A nice introduction to the school for nursery & reception.

Halloween Disco – A spooky night for all.

Helping Hands Half Term – Every little job is worth a little.

Movie Night – These are hugely popular and enjoyed by all.

Fireworks Display – together with the Scouts organised a fab firework display

Christmas Disco – A fab Christmas Disco night had by all Reception- Yr6

Christmas Movie Night – Small Foot and Christmas Chronicles enjoyed by all the children.

Christmas Fair – A successful fair with a visit from Santa Claus.

Panto – Sleeping Beauty in St Albans was a huge success.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and school closure all events for the rest of the school year have been cancelled.
