At Hobbs Hill Wood Primary School we have a variety of halls, rooms and sports facilities available for hire. There is also a large car park, providing ample parking (60+ spaces).

Most facilities can be hired Monday to Friday from 3.30pm until 10pm and from 8am-6pm at weekends and during holidays. We also offer some of our meeting rooms for hire during the school day. We can also provide refreshments if required (at an additional charge).

We offer a community rate for:

• voluntary organisations with a charitable purpose, i.e. those registered with the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services, Adult Education Service; and

• extended services, for the pupils of Hobbs Hill Wood and other local maintained schools, during term time.

Our normal rate is payable by all other users, approved by the governors, who will be sympathetic to the needs of the local community.

There are also discounts available for block bookings (6 consecutive weeks or more) and long term bookings. Negotiated rates are available for bookings of over 5 consecutive hours.

Halls

We have two large versatile halls available for hire. These high ceiling halls can be used for either sports and exercise classes or can be set with chairs and tables to create a large meeting space or theatre style auditorium. We can accommodate up to 150 people, depending on the layout required for your event. Both halls have a projector, screen and audio facilities available for use.

Meeting Rooms

In addition to our two large halls we have two meeting rooms available for hire.

The Willow room is a large carpeted room which can be set up with chairs and tables to create a flexible meeting space or theatre style auditorium. We can accommodate up to 150 people, depending on the layout required for your event.

The Myatt room is a meeting room set with one large oval table that can seat up to 20 people, with several additional comfortable seats. We also have a small room adjacent to the Myatt room that could be used as a break out area (for an additional charge).

A projector, screen and audio facilities are available in both the Willow and Myatt rooms.

Additional large space

Our dining area is a large, bright room with a hard floor. It is available for hire with tables and bench seating, or these may be packed away to create a large hard floor space. (The kitchen is not available for food preparation, but can be used to plate up pre-prepared food.)

Classrooms

We have 14 classrooms throughout the school, with a variety of layouts. There are six classrooms with tables and chairs suitable for smaller children, and 8 classrooms with larger tables and chairs, suitable for larger children and adults. Each classroom can seat up to 30 people.

Sports facilities

We have two 3G MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) flood lit pitches available for hire. These pitches are 15m x 30m and are marked out with 5 a side football pitches with recessed goal areas. They are suitable for youth games, and adult games (up to a max. of 4/5 a-s-side). They are available with flood lights so can be used for evening training, as well as at the weekends. The surface is suitable for a variety of different sports training.

There are two under 11 grass football pitches available for hire, for both training and matches. These are marked out and have goal posts permanently erected (markings during football season/nets not provided).
