Sponsored Walk
On Thursday 9th June we held our annual sponsored walk - and like last year, we used our school grounds as the course. (Only this time we used our entire site - including the Key Stage 1 playground and the car park!)
It was a perfect morning for walking, not too hot, not too cold - just right. The children got lots of fresh air, lots of exercise and had lots of fun on the way.
This year's theme was 'All The Fun Of The Fair'. There were different challenges on each of our three playgrounds: Skittle Knockdown, Velcro-ball Target and Beanbag Buckets. In addition, children dressed up in stripy clothing, based around the traditional design of fairground tents and Helter Skelters.
Let's hope the children got lots of sponsors, because the more money we raise, the more we can spend. And that means more great stuff for the children to use in school.
