Hobbs Hill Wood Primary School

Improving outcomes for all our pupils through high quality teaching and learning

Families on the Field 2013

Creative Arts Week at Hobbs Hill Wood kicked off last week with the theme of ‘The Eastern World’.

The whole school participated in various activities ranging from Martial Arts to sushi making.

The sun shone for our families on the field event on Thursday evening where the whole school came together to perform. The children sang Kung Fu Fighting, Children Around the World and the commonwealth song, Sing. Families enjoyed a variety of drumming performances and a rendition from our talent show winners whilst enjoying their picnics. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the week, and this could be seen from the amazing show of children’s work in the KS2 hall exhibition. Families were greeted by a Samurai Warrior, Geisha girl and a Chinese Dragon as they visited the various exhibits in the hall.
