On Friday 16th November, Year 6 took part in a baking activity to raise money for Children in Need.
Following a relatively simple recipe (eggs, flour, sugar and butter) and working in pairs, we made some cake mixture, filled some cupcake bases and got baking.
In the afternoon, when the cakes had all cooled down, we mixed up some butter icing and got piping. It has to be said that some looked better than others, but they all tasted the same in the end - the general consensus was that they were delicious.
A massive thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to help out - this task would have been incredibly challenging without their assistance.
